Here are some frequently asked questions customers often ask us. If you have

How long is a rental period?
Since most people rent items for weekend events, the usual rental period runs from Friday until Monday. For weekday events, the rental period generally runs the day before the event until the day after the event.

Does the equipment need to be returned clean?

All equipment needs to be returned clean, dry, and in the same condition in which you received it or additional charges may apply.The following are exceptions to this policy:

China, Glassware, Silver:
Often it is not possible for the customer or caterer to wash these items due to the location of the event or due to limitations of the facilities. Therefore, we charge 10 cents per piece for these items when they are returned to us unwashed. We do request that they be scraped, rinsed and drained prior to return. For these situations, the cleaning fees will be added to your bill prior to the event. Frequently, it is less expensive to do this than to pay the caterer extra time to have their crew wash and dry the items

Linens:
Please allow the linens to dry before you bag them to return to us but please do not launder them. Replacement costs for linens will be charged if they are returned with wax, burns, or mildew.

Glassware:
Missing glassware tends to be more of a problem than dirty glassware. There will be additional charges for glassware that is broken or is not returned. We recommend switching to plastic drinkware during the last part of your party. This minimizes the number of glasses that become "to go glasses".

Is there a minimum order?
No, we have no minimum order so feel free to come in and rent those one or two items you might be short for your
dinner party!
What if I have a last minute emergency?

Items can be added to your order, based upon availability, right up to the day of your event. However, we can not reduce the quantity of your order within 10 days notice.

How much skirting will I need for the tables?
Table skirting comes in 20 foot sections. Measure the edges of your tables
along the edges you want to skirt and round up to the next multiple of 20. For example, to skirt the front of a head table at a wedding that is made up of 3tables measuring 8 feet each, you would need 2 table skirts (3 x 8 = 24 rounding up to 40 feet of skirting). Are colored linens more expensive than white?

No, linens are priced based on size and fabric rather than color. We have many colors in stock and can even special order to match most color schemes.

Does Party Central ship linen rentals?

We do ship our linen rentals all over, as our prices appeal to customers on a national scale. Out of state? We can still accommodate you!

Is your delivery area limited?
We deliver mostly to Los Angeles County area, but we can deliver to Orange County, Ventura County, and surrounding areas. Delivery charges do apply and are based on the size and quantity of vehicles needed to accommodate your order as well as the distance those vehicles need to travel. Call us for delivery quotes!
How do I know that my rental items will go with my room décor?
The majority of our items are neutral in color and style so they will not clash and can be dressed up to match any decor!
